Aquatic PT Section Leaders Meet to Evaluate Programs and to Make Plans

Members of the Aquatic PT Executive Committee met in Nashville during the National APTA CSM session to evaluate progress and discuss plans for the remainder of the year. Leading the sessions was President Karolyn Grimm, PT, MS, of Greenport, N.Y.

Budgets were reviewed, as were the recent election results. Other topics discussed included: the upcoming "Aquatic Summit 08: Advanced Practice of Aquatic Therapy" seminar in Mesa, Ariz. on Sept. 19-21; the Section's risk awareness task force plans; activities of the clinical residency and the specialty certification task forces; upcoming audio conferences on various aquatic PT topics, and the goal and vision for the Aquatic PT Journal.
