Course Description

Managing air and water quality of an aquatic therapy center is critical to a high quality experience.  The process to assure success starts at the facility design phase and extends through daily operations.  Almost any pool and its surroundings can be improved with "smart" changes.  This course will cover proven techniques from real world experiences to assure success in achieving a high quality aquatic therapy environment.

Upon completion, you and your staff will be able to:

·     Identify what the conditions are for air and water quality that produce the most comfortable aquatic therapy environment;

·     Understand the impact of poor air and water quality on patients and staff, and

·     The impact of poor air and water quality on your total facility.
